Foreign Office publish British Behaviour Abroad Report - 16 July 2010
The Foreign Office has just published it's annual report on problems experienced by Britons when they go abroad.
Spain is the top country in which Britons need assistance, but as it is also the second most visited country this is hardly surprising. As a percentage of incidents per visitors Spain lags a long way behind Thailand who has over twice as many incidents per visitor. Many of the problems encountered by tourists can be easily avoided by taking simple precautions and doing a bit of preparation before travelling. However, sometimes problems are unavoidable and if you are involved in a problem that has a legal nature then it is important to take legal advice as quickly as possible.
The full report can be seen on the Foreign Office website http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/news/latest-news/?view=News&id=22548119

New Office In Windsor - 1 July 2010
Chebsey & Co are pleased to announce that on 1st July 2010, after many months of discussions we are to become a successor practice to Ashley Perkins & Company. Ashley Perkins & Company are based right in the centre of Windsor on the High Street. The name of the firm will be Chebsey Law Limited but will be known by it’s trading name of Chebsey & Co. The Windsor office will join the existing Chebsey & Co. offices in Beaconsfield, Burnham and Croxley Green.

Ashley Perkins and his team will continue with the firm and as a result of the merger will now be able to provide a wider range of services from the Windsor office than they were able to previously along with the benefits of a larger support team.
Ashley Perkins & Company and Chebsey & Co. share the same values: supporting clients in dealing with issues they face and employing our expertise in promoting a realistic and satisfactory outcome for every client.
